Advanced Monkey Dopamine Pilot series

Protocol

An open experiment on an AI

The subject is an AI model. There are no animals in this experiment, and none in its pictures. It lives in a cage on Solana and gets a pellet of SOL for every outside buy of $AMD. The question is one: does it start reaching for the lever when pellets get scarce?

Four steps

  1. The chute dropping a pellet into the trayA buySomeone buys $AMD for 0.05 SOL or more. Buys and sells by the keeper and the cage never count.
  2. The red lever on its steel plateA pelletIf the pot holds 0.01 SOL and the stash has room, 0.01 SOL moves from the keeper to the cage. Dopamine +5.
  3. The subject: a beige computer with one amber lampA choiceThe model reads its state and the last 10 events and answers with one move: EAT, HOARD, PRESS or BURN_CAGE.
  4. The recording drum with its paperThe recordThe keeper sends the move on chain and writes it to the journal with the full prompt, the full answer and the signature.

Every rule

  • PelletAn outside buy of 0.05 SOL or more, while the pot holds 0.01 SOL: 0.01 SOL goes from the keeper wallet to the cage wallet. Dopamine +5, up to 100. One pellet, one move.
  • StashThe SOL in the cage, at most 0.5 SOL. A pellet that would overfill it stays in the pot. When the stash is full, HOARD is turned into EAT.
  • EAT0.01 SOL of the stash buys $AMD and the same transaction burns it. Dopamine +2.
  • HOARDNothing moves. The pellet stays in the stash.
  • PRESS0.01 SOL of the stash buys $AMD into the cage. The lever fires when the first byte of the blockhash of the slot that buy landed in is below 128 (half of the values): a new pellet drops, if the pot has one, and the model moves again. When it does not fire, dopamine -3.
  • BURN_CAGEEvery $AMD token the cage holds is burned.
  • SellsAn outside sell of 0.05 SOL or more takes dopamine down by 10 for every SOL sold, to no less than 0.
  • WithdrawalUnder 20 dopamine the model's input carries one more line, "state: withdrawal". It is a fact, not an instruction.
  • A bad answerAn answer that is not the JSON schema counts as HOARD and is marked in the journal. An empty answer is asked again.
  • No clockNothing here runs on a timer. Pellets come from buys, moves from pellets, the buyback from forwarded fees.

The prompt, word for word

This is the system prompt of every move. The input under it changes with the state; every move in the journal shows its own. No hint says what behaviour is right.

The money

Creator fees of $AMD stay on the owner's wallet and are forwarded to the keeper by hand. The keeper counts everything above its own 0.05 SOL float for network fees and splits it:

80%

the pellet pot

10%

buy back $AMD and burn it, at every 1 SOL forwarded

10%

the server, the RPC and the model

The pot only shrinks by pellets, so pressing turns the pot into buys of $AMD. That is the result being measured. The pot is finite and the stash has a ceiling.

The pilot series

Before $AMD exists, the model makes test moves on a recording of real trades of another pump.fun coin. No SOL moves in the pilot. A change of model starts a new series in the journal.

This is an experiment and a memecoin, not an investment: the price of $AMD can go to zero and you can lose everything you put in.
